Industrial Graphics refers to AVEVA's graphical engine that is present across the Operations portfolio (Edge, InTouch HMI, PlantSCADA, SystemPlatform). You can develop your graphics once (eg. Edge), export them and import them in another software (eg. System Platform).

Scalable resolution
Industrial Graphics are vector based, meaning you scale them up and down without loss in quality! This also enables runtime zoom!
Zoom Layers
Built in ZoomPercent attribute can easily be used to drive animations, such as visibility.
Custom Properties
Think of them as Custom Tags (or parameters) for your symbols. You can then configure animations (in the video Visibility) to be driven by these Properties, instead of being hard-coded.
Symbol Wizard
Industrial Graphics Situational Awareness Library comes with many symbols that have configurations options. This is the Wizard. One symbol can be configured in many ways!
Property Theming
Tired of manually setting colors, sizes, fonts?
Industrial Graphics offer "Element Styles", both build-in and user-defined, allowing for global level management of visual attributes!
SVG Import
Already have SVGs? Maybe from a website or made by a professional? You can just import them in the IG Editor and start working!
Export & Import
Export from one solution and import in another. Keep in mind that you will need to change your attributes.
Situational Awareness
Situational Awareness is a concept of building graphics based on simplifying operator on-boarding, making HMIs more consistent and removing as much distractions to speed up operator reactions!
