You can easily create applications in several languages and provide the operator with options to switch the language at runtime.

Reporting

AVEVA Edge provides basic text reporting (it saves txt, CSV and HTML on disk). If you are in need for more, AVEVA Reports can also integrate with Edge.

Portfolio Integration

You can trend data to AVEVA Historian, AVEVA InSight, report on data using AVEVA Reports, but also integrate with other advanced solutions such as System Platform.

Security

Full-featured security system with users and groups managed by Edge or Microsoft Active Directory. Protect buttons / pages with privileges.

Alarming

What is a SCADA without alarms? Simple to configure, copy-paste supported alarm tables. Also, easy to operate and configure alarm clients.

Edge provides powerful scripting native and Python! As well as the option to create your own custom symbols and HTML5 widgets. You can even embed web pages!

Development

The development studio aka Edge Studio only works on Windows and offers all the tools needed for configuring drivers, alarms, trends and creating symbols and screens.

Development is licensed separately.

Runtime

The Full runtime is designed for Full Windows and provides all features.

Designed for Windows Embedded, some features may be missing.

IoT View, for Linux, can run on Ubuntu, RaspeberryOS and even Docker. Has some missing features.

Note: one web client is included in any runtime license, but additional clients are purchased separetely.
